Scott McFarland is a Public Administration Graduate Student. Prior to attending UIS, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and teaching from Western Illinois University.
As the Speaker of the Senate of WIU’s Student Government Association, Scott wrote and sponsored numerous pieces of legislation that helped to improve the lives of the students. Those bills included the request for new security blue lights, putting a polling place on campus, placing book lists online for all courses, and creating a database to help transfer students track their credits.
