Elizabeth Janeteas – Candidate Senator from the College of Business and Management

My name is Elizabeth Janeteas and I am running for SGA Senator from the College of Business and Management. I am a sophomore in the Capital Scholars Honors Program majoring in Accountancy. I am involved on campus as a CAP Mentor, Underclassmen Representative for Blue Crew, Student Accounting Society, and Women’s Issues Caucus member.

I will be a resource for both new and returning students of all areas of studies. Together, we can foster an environment where we encourage and make it easier than ever to have your voice heard. I would work on improving student life by addressing the issues that matter to the student body. I am capable of serving as the voice for our student body because I am a responsible, self-motivated individual with a desire to work hard and make a change. I will take a proactive role in working with other council members to provide the most inclusive and rewarding experience for the UIS students.

It would be an honor to represent this diverse constituency so please vote for me during the SGA election on April 23rd and 24th!
