candidate for Student Representative to the Board of Trustees

Hi, my name is Tyler Scherer. I am a Sophomore Communication major. I am very involved at UIS. I have served on the student disciplinary committee for 2 years, along with 2 years of service to SGA.  I feel that I am well qualified for the position because I have served on the SGA. I know how the operations work within the system. I believe that is very important for our Student Trustee to know that. The U of I is struggling and right now they need a student that will listen and represent what our campus wants and deserves.
