Student Activities Committee (SAC)
Hello and welcome to another awesome year at UIS! We at SAC are really excited about getting this year started because we have some pretty amazing things planned for campus. We are a standing committee of the Student Government Association (SGA) of the University of Illinois at Springfield and are affiliated with the National Association of Campus Activities (NACA). If you are a new freshman WELCOME to the greatest of the U of I campuses and if you are returning, WELCOME BACK! We are YOUR Student Activities Committee. We work constantly to bring awesome events to campus – both social and educational. Our coordinator positions include: marketing, traditions (Homecoming & Springfest), performance, coffeehouse, comedy, film, off campus & travel, education personal growth & diversity, spirit, and special events. The coordinators are each responsible for all of the aspects of planning the events. SAC meetings occur every Sunday during the academic year at 6pm in the Student Life Building Multipurpose Room. If you would like more information please email us, like us on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter. We are here for the students and our goal is to bring all of the talent that you want to see! We want to hear your voices! We want this to be the best experience that you could possibly have. We want to prove to you why UIS is the best school to attend and why you should continue to return every year!
