Also known as the Jitterbug or simply Swing, this is a beginner-level, lead and follow, partner dance class. Your instructors will teach you the basic steps of Swing and how to dance to the music, gradually incorporating more advanced movements. This is a six week course. Participants must sign up with a partner, partners do not have to be male-female. *We have not yet set a date for this course offering. Please watch for new classes.

Registration is open to current UIS students, employees, and their friends/family. Friends/family must be accompanied by a valid UIS i-card holder at registration and during all dance sessions.

Registration: To register please visit the Recreational Sports Office located in TRAC. Please bring your i-card and form of payment (cash or check payable to UIS) with you to register.
