This policy may benefit any UIS student who was enrolled in any UIS academic term (summer, fall, or spring) from Summer 2004 through Summer 2007, assessed the Recreation Center Fee, and paid a minimum of $40 of that fee during the respective term. Students may not claim the benefit during a period in which they are enrolled. The student shall be entitled to free Rec Center Membership in the new Recreation & Athletic Center an equivalent number of terms the fee was paid according to the above conditions. This policy is in effect from August 2007 through December 2010. It is not transferable to any other individual. All benefits not claimed shall be lost beginning January 2011.

UIS students wishing to claim their benefit must do so at the Recreational Sports Office. This Reciprocity Policy shall not preclude or supersede any other Recreational Sports policies. All other Recreational Sports policies and procedures shall remain in effect.
