Kirsten Loutzenhiser, Ph.D., is assistant professor who joined the Department of Public Administration in Fall 2008. She received her doctoral degree in Public Policy Analysis from St. Louis University in 1994 where she served as a postdoctoral fellow in Criminal Justice. Dr. Loutzenhiser's research interests include Policy Analysis and Methods, Gender and Politics, Political Parties, and State and Local Governance. Previously at Barry University in Miami Florida, she taught a wide variety of courses in public administration including planning, leadership, public/private partnerships, and ethics.
Dr. Loutzenhiser is the author of numerous articles in professional journals dedicated to Public Administration and related disciplines.
