That's the idea behind the University of Illinois Springfield's Project Midstate Student Support. Our motto, "helping local students become local teachers" has been in effect since the program's inception in 1992. We believe Springfield's educators of tomorrow are sitting in Springfield's classrooms today; and we exist to reap that harvest.

Everyone's trying to beat the heat and stay cool as the summer term comes to a close and we prepare for fall. First up on our agenda is our annual "Parent and New Student Orientation" Tuesday, August 9 in PAC Conference Room G, at 6:00pm.
