Media Advisory: Forum on “Politics, the Constitution, and Supreme Court Appointments”September 16, 2005What: A public forum on “Politics, the Constitution, and Supreme Court Appointments.” Martin Redish, Professor of Law, Northwestern University School of Law, will be the keynote speaker. When: 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, September 19 Where: Brookens Auditorium, located on the lower level of Brookens Library at UIS Details: Professor Redish will focus on the role of the Supreme Court in American constitutional democracy and on the future of Supreme Court appointments. Commentary on Dr. Redish’s analysis will be presented by U.S. District Court Judge Jeanne E. Scott and UIS Interim Dean of the College of Public Affairs and Administration Pinky Wassenberg. The event is presented by the UIS Center for State Policy and Leadership in observance of U.S. Constitution Day.
