UIS to host lecture on Australian environmental issuesOctober 16, 2006SPRINGFIELD – "Environmental Issues in Australia Today" is the topic of a lecture scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, October 30, in Brookens Auditorium, located on the lower level of Brookens Library at the University of Illinois at Springfield. The program is free and open to the public. Featured speaker will be Dr. Linsday Hutley, a lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science at Charles Darwin University, Darwin, Australia, and recognized around the world as an expert on the management of tropical wetlands and savannas.
