UIS student honored as "Technician of the Year"October 9, 2006SPRINGFIELD – Ken Davis, a systems and security analyst with the Sangamon County Emergency Telephone System Department, has been named Technician of the Year by the Illinois Chapter of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials. Davis' achievement will be recognized October 23 at the APCO-NENA-ICC annual conference in Springfield. Davis holds a bachelor of science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Springfield and is currently enrolled as a graduate student in the CSC master's degree program at UIS.
