Media Advisory: UIS Homecoming ParadeOctober 6, 2006What: UIS’ first-ever Homecoming Parade When: Begins at 4 p.m., Saturday, October 7 Where: At UIS. The parade will start out from Parking Lot B and travel along the west side of campus. Details: The parade will consist of 29 entries, including bands, floats, fire trucks, convertibles, candy, and a grand marshal. Parking Lot B will be blocked off for parade set-up; however lots A, C, D, F, and G will be open. A map of the route is available at http://www.uis.edu/studentlife/homecoming/parade.htm. The theme of this year’s Homecoming is “Through the Decades.” |
