Sharon Graf, assistant professor of ethnomusicology, noted, “We invite everyone to bring their lunch, enjoy the music, and learn a bit about what Music at UIS has to offer.  There will be something for everybody.”

Each group is made up of UIS students, faculty, staff, and community members and has been rehearsing since the fall semester began in August. The performances will include vocal music in Swahili, a barber shop quartet, Korean folk music, English madrigals and string music, a work by Bach, and the UIS School Song.

For more information, contact Graf by phone at 206-6570 or by e-mail at graf.sharon@uis.edu.
