SPRINGFIELD – Elections 2000 – Illinois will kick off the UIS Politics and Policy Series, 2000-2001, a series of two public forums on important issues facing Illinois policymakers and citizens today. The forum will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November14, in the University of Illinois at Springfield’s Studio Theatre, located on the lower level of the Public Affairs Center. The event is free and open to the public and will be taped for broadcast on WUIS-91.9 FM at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 17.
