What: News conference with new president of the University of Illinois, B. Joseph White. The announcement of Dr. White’s selection by the Board of Trustees took place Tuesday morning in Chicago.

When: 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 3.

Where: Great Room in Lincoln Residence Hall, located just southwest of the Public Affairs Center. Parking is available in parking lots D and E.

Details: UIS Chancellor Richard Ringeisen, and Board of Trustees Chair Lawrence Eppley will attend the conference. President James J. Stukel, who will retire as U of I president on Feb. 1, 2005, is also expected to be present.
