PRESS RELEASE INDEX: This Year 2004 2003 2002 2001 2000		Media Advisory: Dr. Zakia Salime to speak in observance of International Women's Day March 7, 2006 What: In celebration of International Women’s Day, Dr. Zakia Salime will speak about “Feminization of Islamist Women and the Power of Women’s Rights.” She is assistant professor of Sociology at Michigan State University. When: Interviews with reporters: 6:30-6:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at Brookens Auditorium. Presentation: 7 p.m. Where: Brookens Auditorium, located on the lower level of Brookens Library. Details: Sponsors are UIS Center for State Policy and Leadership and UIS Women’s Center. Free and open to the public.
