SPRINGFIELD Ė The Management Department at the University of Illinois at Springfield has announced that Jennifer Peck of Decatur, Illinois, has been awarded the 2003-2004 Regina Midden Farley Scholarship, given annually to a student who is pursuing a bachelorís degree in Management at UIS and who has a minimum grade-point average of 3.75.† The student must also demonstrate superior performance at work.†
Peck is employed by Human Resources at the ADM Corporate Office in Decatur.
Established in 1991 by family, friends, UIS students and faculty, the scholarship honors Regina Midden Farley.† Farley, whose bachelorís degree in Management was awarded posthumously, was pursuing her degree part time and working full time at the Illinois State Board of Education at the time of her death.
