PRESS RELEASE INDEX: This Year 2004 2003 2002 2001 2000		Media Advisory - UIS to announce major gift for new rec center July 11, 2005 What: News conference to announce a major gift for the new recreation and fitness center at the University of Illinois at Springfield. The design for the center will also be unveiled. When: 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 13. Where: UIS Gymnasium, located in the Student Life Building. Details: UIS Chancellor Richard Ringeisen and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Chris Miller will make the announcements. The donor will be present.
		The University of Illinois at Springfield, one of three U of I campuses, is a small, public liberal arts university that offers 42 degree programs – 21 bachelor’s, 20 master’s, and the Doctorate of Public Administration.
