New Almanac of Illinois Politics is available

SPRINGFIELD – The Center for State Policy and Leadership at the University of Illinois at Springfield announces the publication of the Almanac of Illinois Politics - 2006.

This biennial resource is published by Center Publications/Illinois Issues in cooperation with the Center’s Institute for Legislative Studies.

This year’s edition reflects the changes in Illinois government and politics over the past two years, including updated information for each legislative and congressional district, the latest top contributors to political campaigns, and thoughtful assessments on current policy issues. It features a more accessible design and an improved guide to additional resources.

Since its first edition in 1990, the Almanac of Illinois Politics has been a leading source for information on the key players in Illinois government. This widely popular publication is considered an invaluable resource by legislators, governmental staff, lobbyists, reporters, teachers, students, and citizens.
