UIS sponsors annual Alumni in Government Breakfast

SPRINGFIELD - The University of Illinois Alumni Association at UIS will sponsor its annual Alumni in Government Breakfast from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, at the Executive Mansion, 410 E. Jackson in downtown Springfield.

The event is designed for alumni whose employment relates in any way to government, as well as for those who are simply interested in government or in UIS. UIS Chancellor Richard Ringeisen and alumnus John Lowder, director of research and appropriations for the Illinois House of Representatives, will make brief remarks.

Cost is $21 per person, $16 per person for current UIS students and UIAA members and their guests. Reservations are required and must be made by March 1.
