The theme of Dr. Ringeisen’s talk will be that UIS is on an upward trajectory as it becomes a full-fledged four-year university this fall. When: 3 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2006 Where: Studio Theatre, located on the lower level of the Public Affairs Center Details: The fall semester, which starts Monday, August 21, is shaping up to be an exciting one with an expanded curriculum for freshmen, 60 new courses, 40 new faculty, and more than 850 residential students, the most ever. Early enrollment figures show a record number of freshmen and international students, and an increase in online enrollment for the 17th consecutive semester. |
