UIS Visual Arts Gallery to present “Testing...”April 12, 2004SPRINGFIELD - “Testing...,” an exhibit of works by five graduating seniors at the University of Illinois at Springfield, will be on display at the UIS Visual Arts Gallery from April 20 through May 14. An opening reception will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, in the gallery. The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public. The show features a diverse body of drawings, graphics, paintings, and photographs by Johnny Powers, Stan Bly, Jennifer Preston, Brian Alling, and Curtis Reed in a compilation that “embodies the unique talent of the Visual Arts program” at UIS. The Visual Arts Gallery is located in room 201 of the Health and Science Building on the UIS campus. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
