Code Blue Emergency Telephones

Code Blue is an emergency communications system that puts the user in direct communication with the UIS Police Department.

These units are strategically located throughout the campus.  See map below.

To activate the unit, the user need only push the Red Emergency button.

When activated, the unit rings into the UIS Police Department and a blue strobe light atop the unit begins flashing.

Upon receiving a call from an emergency telephone a police officer will be dispatched to the emergency telephone location.

The UIS Police Department can identify the location of the Code Blue unit and establish two-way communications with the user.
