FEATURED PERFORMANCES FOR NOVEMBER

Diavolo company members are dancers, gymnasts, actors and athletes who redefine dance through dynamic movement, and enlighten communities through trust, teamwork, and individual expression. As modern society becomes more complex with new technologies and marvelous possibilities, Diavolo investigates the latent absurdities of contemporary human life and seeks to recontextualize those absurdities through the body. Expanding the boundaries of what is considered dance, Diavolo creates movement that offers a cinematic experience of powerful images and abstract narratives.

FAMILY SERIES AT UIS EVENT

America’s favorite singing cowboys are coming to Sangamon Auditorium, UIS in a spectacular holiday performance for the entire family. Widely known for their hit song “Woody’s Roundup” from the 1999 Walt Disney/Pixar animated classic Toy Story 2, the Riders in the Sky have entertained audiences for almost 30 years with their hilarious gags and powerfully tight Western vocal harmonies.

Explore the open range with Ranger Doug (Idol of American Youth), Woody Paul (King of the Cowboy Fiddlers), Too Slim ("a Righteous Tater") and Joey (the CowPolka King). Their magnificent vocals and equally sharp wit will make this a holiday show that you’ll never forget!
