Where: Brookens Auditorium at the University of Illinois at Springfield. Brookens Auditorium is located on the lower level of Brookens Library on the UIS campus.
Details: Dr. Poole directs the Bank's head office in St. Louis, as well as its three branches -- in Little Rock, Arkansas; Louisville, Kentucky; and Memphis, Tennessee. In addition, he represents the bank on the Federal Open Market Committee, the Federal Reserve's chief monetary policymaking body.
The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is one of 12 regional Reserve banks. Regional Reserve banks, along with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., constitute the Federal Reserve System.
