What: The University of Illinois at Springfield will host a stop on the Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour
When: Tuesday, October 2, from 3 to 7 p.m.
Where: Lincoln Residence Hall at UIS
Details: The Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour, the first-ever collegiate entrepreneurship tour, is the inspiration of Michael Simmons and Sheena Lindahl, co-founders of Extreme Entrepreneurship Education and authors of The Student Success Manifesto and All or Nothing, Now or Never. Speakers comprise many of America's top young entrepreneurs who have made, earned, or sold a company for millions and/or otherwise made an impact before age 25.
Simmons will be the keynote speaker at 3:15 p.m. At 6 p.m. there will be a panel discussion with Joe Kim of Design Ideas, Springfield; Michelle Tjelmeland of e-Websmart, Springfield; and Mary Byers, local author and motivational speaker.
