SPRINGFIELD – "Tubenvergnugen II: The Joy of Tuba," a recital by faculty and other members of UIS Music at the University of Illinois at Springfield, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 16, in the Studio Theatre, located in the lower level of the Public Affairs Center on the UIS campus.
The centerpiece of the program will be performances by Todd Cranson and Rose Schweikhart on tuba, accompanied by Marina Meshcherska on piano. The trio will also be joined by other performers including several members of the UIS faculty, as well as the cello section of the UIS Chamber Orchestra.
