If I am injured on the job, what should I do?
Answer:
Immediately report the accident / incident to your supervisor.
Seek medical attention if needed and provide a written medical status update to the Office of Workers’ Compensation and Claims Management and supervisor after each office visit.
Thoroughly complete and sign the first Report of Injury/Illness form within 24 hours and mail or email (Workcomp@uillinois.edu) to the Office of Workers’ Compensation and Claims Management.
