Choosing Colors

Select colors that match your department website and other promotional materials.

• This will help to brand your department.

• Every promotional piece you create – brochures, flyers, etc. – should use your department website colors.

• Consistency in color is good. Stick with a maximum of 3 colors (plus black and white) for your email newsletter.

• You may get tired of your colors, but the user will eventually get to know “your colors” and identify them with you.
