Give a Daffodil

Daffodil Days, an event put on through the American Cancer Society, is an opportunity for people to join in the fight against cancer and save more lives. Dollars raised through the sales of daffodils support research, education, patient services and early detection.

Daffodils are the first flower of spring and are a symbol of hope for cancer patients and their families that one day cancer will be eliminated. The daffodil is the official flower of the American Cancer Society.

Some of the products include a bunch of daffodils which includes 10 stems for $10. We have a kiwi green vase for $6. A limited edition Boyd’s bear for $25, and potted bulbs for $10. One of the biggest sellers is the Gift of Hope. This is where the American Cancer Society volunteers will anonymously deliver a daffodil bouquet arranged in a vase to cancer patients at medical centers and health facilities in your community.

Daffodil Days delivery will take place the week of March 17-21st. If you sell over $200 worth your daffodils will be delivered to you. Otherwise, a pickup location will be provided to you.

If you are interested in selling, purchasing or would like to become involved in our sponsorship program, contact Sara at (217)523-4534 or sara.hammuck@cancer.org.
