Sociology/Anthropology Panel Discussion
All interested students and alumni are invited to a panel discussion focused on careers and graduate school in the fields of sociology and anthropology called "Life after college for Sociology/Anthropology majors."
The panel dicussion will take place on Tuesday, February 19, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in UHB 1001.
Points of discussion will include: what kind of jobs are available for sociology/anthropology majors, how to find a job or internships, what goes on a resume, deciding if grad school is right for you and how to choose a graduate program.
Discuss these and other questions about careers and graduate schools with SOA faculty, a current UIS graduate student and a representative of the UIS Career Development Center. Panel members will be: Becky Buhl (SOA graduate assistant), Lynn Fisher (SOA faculty), Gale Kilbury (Career Counselor) and Hinda Seif (SOA/WMS faculty).
