Crisis in Sudan Lecture

The Office of Student Life and Office of Multicultural Services are hosting a lecture called "The Crisis in Sudan" given by Simon Aban Deng on Thursday, February 7 at 12 p.m. in Brookens Auditorium.

The event is free.

Simon Aban Deng is a refugee from Sudan and a survivor of child slavery. A native of the Shiluk Kingdom in southern Sudan, Deng spent several years as a domestic slave in northern Sudan.
