Call for CAPE Award Nominations
The Academic Professional Advisory Committee is accepting nominations for the Chancellor’s Academic Professional Excellence (CAPE) Award. Nominations will be accepted February 18 through March 17, 2008.
The CAPE Award honors all UIS Academic Professionals by recognizing one outstanding AP who will be judged on three criteria: work projects, professional development and affiliations, and contributions to one’s unit. The winner will receive $500 in cash for personal use. In addition, $500 will be given to the winner’s department.
Any member of the UIS Campus Community -- faculty, AP and civil service staff, and students -- may nominate any AP, and APs may nominate themselves. For more details, and to submit a nomination, please use the online form available on the APAC website: http://www.uis.edu/apac/recognition/nominateCAPE.html
The announcement of this year's recipient will be on April 15 in the PAC Restaurant, and everyone is invited to come.
