Oldfield publishes article in JPAE
Kenneth Oldfield, emeritus professor of Public Administration, published "How Can We Democratize Higher Education If We Don't Count the Votes?: A Master of Public Administration Case Study" in a recent issue of the Journal of Public Affairs Education. Oldfield's article shows that although academic public administration continuously claims a deep commitment to diversity, affirmative action, and social equity, not one of the field's top 50 schools reported taking special steps to recruit students from poverty and working-class origins to study for the MPA.
