Dennis Rendleman reappointed to committee
Dennis Rendleman, assistant professor of Legal Studies, director of the Pre-Law Center, and a Springfield attorney, has been reappointed to the Committee on Professional Responsibility by the Illinois Supreme Court. Rendleman has served on the committee since 2003; his present appointment runs through December 31, 2009.
The Committee on Professional Responsibility advises and makes recommendations to the Illinois Supreme Court on matters relating to legal ethics and professional responsibility. Members are currently reviewing the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct and a proposed revision of the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct recommended by the State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
Rendleman’s private practice and scholarship concentrate on attorney and judicial conduct.
