Bob Dixon, associate professor emeritus of Visual Art, was invited to participate in three international events during a recent tour of China. Dixon’s work was represented in Beijing at the first conference of the International Society for Ceramic Art Education and Exchange, held at the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University. He also took part in the International Ceramic Fair in Jingdezhen, and in the Yixing Ceramic Arts Festival and the 8th National Competition and Evaluation of Designs and Creations in Ceramic Art. The last two events were hosted by the National Ceramic Industry Association, the Yixing Ceramics Association, and the Municipality of Yixing.
