2008 Alchemist Review

UIS' literary journal is seeking submissions for the 2008 edition.

Open only to UIS students, staff, faculty, and alumni.

• Non-fiction
• Fiction in any genre
• One-act plays or shorter playlets
• Poetry
• Artwork that enhances submitted text

Please note: Violent or sexually explicit scenes must serve the story. Maximum length is 5,000 words. Manuscripts should be double-spaced in a standard, 12-point font. No multiple submissions.

Send submissions as a .doc or .rtf attachment to literati@uis.edu. Submissions are reviewed anonymously; contact information should appear ONLY in the body of the e-mail.

Submissions are also being sought for an Alchemist Review logo. The chosen design will reflect the publication’s history and tradition.
