New i-cards available May 14
New i-card designs will be produced at campus ID Centers beginning Monday, May 14. The updated cards have been redesigned to better serve the needs of cardholders and card service providers.
Changes include:
• Campus colors, logos, and photos customized for each campus.
• Phone number and e-mail address for the campus ID Center appears on the back.
• Cardholder information is larger and easier to read.
• Library bar code moved to the back of the card.
• Larger, official i-card logo clearly identifies the card as a University-issued ID.
i-cards at the Urbana and Chicago campuses have additional changes.
Current i-cards will remain valid for University services as the new cards are phased in.
The i-card is the official U of I identification card, providing access to
facilities and services to students, faculty, staff, and other eligible individuals; possession is not proof of current status.
