UIS website now accessible from Internet-enabled cell phones

A mobile version of the UIS website is now accessible from Internet-enabled cell phones.

From your cell phone:

• Open your web browser and go to www.uis.edu/m
  
  or,
  
  
• Go directly to www.uis.edu. Click for mobile site appears at the top of the screen. Click on that link to go to the mobile site.

The mobile version of the UIS website is a collection of text-only pages that download quickly, including important campus phone numbers (click on a number to make a call), campus news items, calendar items, announcements, and athletics headlines.

A link to Webmail is also included; however this is not a special mobile version and the quality of the display may vary, depending on the phone.

The first click from the mobile page takes you to a summary page. If that page contains links, and you click on those links, you will end up in the regular UIS website.
