Simon Deng: The Crisis in Sudan

Simon Aban Deng is a refugee from Sudan and a survivor of child slavery. Now an American citizen, he is leading the effort to end genocide in his native country.
He has addressed the U.N. Human Rights Commission in Geneva, Switzerland. In 2006 he met with President Bush and conducted a fact-finding and humanitarian aid mission to southern Sudan and Darfur.
