Faculty member joins Campaign Finance Institute board

Ronald Michaelson, visiting assistant professor of Political Studies at UIS, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Campaign Finance Institute, a non-partisan, non-profit institute affiliated with The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Michaelson, who also has a joint appointment with the Center for State Policy and Leadership at UIS, previously served as executive director of the Illinois State Board of Elections for 27 years.
