MUS 105/305 Section A:
The UIS Concert Band is composed of UIS students, faculty, staff and local community members and performs original concert band music, transcriptions, jazz and more.
Participation in the UIS Concert Band is open to all woodwind, brass and percussion players. Auditions for chair placement may be held early each semester, but no audition is required for membership.

MUS 105A and 305A may be taken for one credit hour per semester. MUS 105A satisfies one credit of the Visual and Performing Arts General Education Requirement. Three credits are needed to completely satisfy this requirement. Interested musicians need not register for credit to participate.
