The Streets of the University of Illinois at Springfield are named after influential authors that were either born in Illinois or lived in Illinois at some point in their life. The impact and contributions to the world through literature does not go unnoticed, as students are reminded of their work everyday while driving, walking, and learning on the campus of the University of Illinois at Springfield.
