UIS continues to grow - both in its online offerings, and on campus. Recent years have seen the addition of on-campus housing, a new classroom and office building and our newest addition, The Recreation and Athletic Center (The TRAC).

In year 2000, the University of Illinois at Springfield adopted a campus master plan to guide the physical development of our 745-acre campus. The plan was updated in 2008.
