About these Photos

The University of Illinois at Springfield observed the fifth anniversary of the events of 9/11 with a series of programs.

The campus chapter of College Republicans sponsored a memorial display of small U.S. flags near the Quad area near University Hall. The flags remained in place from Monday morning through Tuesday evening. There was also a candlelight vigil, among many other events to remember 9/11.
