Congratulations to
Dr. Paul McDevitt, MBA Director,
who retired July 2009

Paul McDevitt earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree from Tulane University in 1974 and joined Sangamon State University in 1983. For twenty-five years he has taught undergraduate and graduate marketing coursework, relentlessly torturing students to build mental muscle and disciplined thinking skills. His proudest accomplishment: Working with his colleagues to earn AACSB accreditation of the College of Business and Management in 2007. Dr. McDevitt recently received the special honor of being the faculty Grand Marshal for the 2009 UIS Graduation.
Professor Don O'Neal
is 2008/09 UIS Pearson Award Winner
Dr. Don O'Neal was recently presented the Pearson Award by Provost Harry Berman. This award is a university-wide award given annually to one faculty member who best exemplifies the UIS commitment to excellence in teaching. Dr. O'Neal is teaching an MBA elective this summer, Leadership In A Changing World.
