Dr. Hall has been a member of the MIS faculty since the Fall 2000 semester. Prior to that, he worked 25 years for the Illinois Department of Transportation in a variety of capacities including managing the development and implementation of new technologies, network data systems and the enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS).
His teaching and research interests are in information systems management and implementation, GIS, decision support and e-government. At UIS, Dr. Hall has taught courses in MIS, decision support systems and technology management. He received a Master Online Teacher Certificate from the Illinois Online Network at UIUC in 2002 and he has taught over 40 online course sections.
