Professor Te-wei Wang
Te-Wei Wang is a cross disciplinary researcher in the areas of information systems and production operation management. He is currently an assistant professor at the MIS department, University of Illinois at Springfield. He received his Ph.D. in business administration from the Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He holds a Master of Sciences in mechanical engineering from University of Missouri-Rolla (Missouri Science and Technology University). He is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). His research interests include e-commerce assurance service, social networking, virtual society, knowledge management, online learning research, and information systems analysis and design. His work shows up on Journals such as Journal of Database Management, Decision Support Systems and many national and international conferences.
Recently, Dr. Wang has been engage in online and distant learning. He is involved in developing courses and project with Ming-Chi University of Technology, Taiwan.
