All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to log on to the emergency system web site at https://emergency.uis.edu to enter your contact information. You can designate how you would like to be notified and enter up to three email addresses and two text message addresses. In addition, you can change, add to or delete your contact information at any time. All the information that you provide is secure. It should be noted that the system can deliver messages quickly to email accounts on university-owned email systems, but the speed of text message deliveries depends on technologies not under campus control.
