Professor Addison-Lamb, Clinical Instructor in the Liberal Studies Program, received her M.A. in Innovative Education and Women's Studies from Sangamon State University and her B.A. in Liberal Arts and Social Work from the University of Iowa.
She has taught at SSU/UIS in Women's Studies, Credit for Prior Learning, Applied Studies and Individual Option. In 1980 she founded the Namaste Yoga Center in Springfield, Illinois where was the Director prior to returning to UIS in 2003 to teach in the Liberal Studies Program. She continues to be a Yoga teacher and Yoga therapist.
Her interests include adult learning theory, experiential learning, Yoga philosophy, health and well-being.
